DeepStream Technologies Limited – ICON secures seed round funding for new digital sensor technology business.
ICON has advised the management of Deepstream on their seed funding round, securing £2.8m equity investment from Doughty Hanson Technology Ventures, £1.2m of Regional Selective Grant assistance and additional bank funding bringing total committed funding to £10m over the next five years.
DeepStream introduces a deeply disruptive technology, developing for the first time cost-effective miniaturised 3D digital sensors for industrial and domestic electrical devices. The deeply embedded technology can be designed to fit into new or existing devices, replacing less accurate analogue systems and offering electrical device manufacturers the benefits of digital technology – accuracy, intelligence and upgradeability.
