ICON helps University develop Spin Outs

ICON is delighted to have the opportunity to be associated with the University of the West of England through the sponsorship of their Business Plan Completion.
The competition aims to act as inspiration for students and staff to channel their talent, energy and ideas to create spin outs. Entrants will benefit from advice and support in bringing their new ideas to market, including workshops on writing a business plan, networking opportunities and guidance on intellectual property issues.
ICON are delighted to be supporting initiatives that promote innovation, vision and ambition, and are fully committed to helping the entrepreneurs create the companies of the future.
The prize includes £15,000 in cash and an option for a year’s rent-free desk in UWE’s business incubator facility called Bristol eMedia. Other sponsors include Andersens, NatWest, Burges Salmon and Business Links.
