ICON shortlisted as Best Finance Advisory Firm in Europe
September 2008
ICON has been shortlisted as the top financial adviser in Europe 2008, alongside firms such as Rothchilds Corporate Finance, Close Brothers, Hawkpoint, KPMG and IMAP Europe.
Judges in the European Private Equity Awards selected ICON from the best investment banks, corporate finance arms of accountancy firms and independent corporate finance houses across Europe. The judges looked at the added value that the firms provided to its clients in private equity-related transactions, as well as innovation, creative deal structures and professionalism. ICON who specialise in raising venture capital and selling technology companies are the only sector focused firm to make the shortlist.
ICON's founder and CEO Alan Bristow commented: It has been a good year for ICON where we've outperformed our UK and European competitors. It's extremely good news that a UK firm has been recognised as one of the best in Europe."
