Eddie Harding wins Corporate Financier of the Year Award

Raising funds and management buyout transactions, focusing on enterprise software, and services opportunities in financial services and telecoms has been Eddie’s forte.
Eddie Harding’s activity in the market over the past year has made him a worthy winner of the Corporate Finance Adviser Award.
Eddie joined Bristol-based ICON Corporate Finance in 2000 and specialises in raising funds and management buyout transactions with particular focus on enterprise software and services opportunities in the financial services and telecoms sectors.
Prior to joining ICON, Eddie spent some seven years in corporate finance with Arthur Andersen.
He was a senior manager in the private equity transaction group in London and also spent two years as a manager in the corporate finance team in Sydney.
He covered various technology and media transactions while at Andersen including the $1 billion buy-out of Invensys’ paper technology business, the BSkyB flotation and a $700 million listing of a major development company on the Australian Stock Exchange.
Eddie has more than 10 years international corporate finance experience and has a degree in economics and accounting. ICON made it a double in the Deal Awards with James Thomas also winning the Young Dealmaker of the Year award.
Founder and managing director Alan Bristow was shortlisted in the Dealmaker of the Year category.
