ZANTAZ now manages the world’s largest email archive and is an acknowledged leader in message archiving software. Autonomy now has a market cap of $4 billion, is the second largest pure software company in Europe and was named the Best Performing Software Company in Europe in 2007.

Dr Lynch recently won Innovator of the Year at the European Business Leaders Awards (EBLA), beating executives from SAP and Nokia, for pioneering new approaches to enterprise search and information processing technology. He is a past winner of the CBI’s Entrepreneur of the Year Award, a non-executive director of the BBC and a non-executive director of blinkx plc.
